TPG acquires stake in Schott Poonawalla, strengthening pharmaceutical packaging capabilities

 Private equity firm TPG has entered into a binding agreement to acquire a 35 percent stake in Schott Poonawalla from Serum Institute of India. The deal is expected to close within the first half of 2025, with Serum Institute retaining a minority stake while Schott Pharma continues to hold 50 percent ownership.
