Transforming Energy Storage: Keynote Highlights from The Battery Show South

The Battery Show South 2025, colocated with the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo South, has released its keynote speakers for its opening event on April 16-17, 2025, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Cristina Paredes, SC Nexus Executive Director for Advanced Resilient Energy, will address "Economic Opportunities in the South" to showcase the potential of South Carolina to stimulate technological innovation and economic development. Christian Hofer, Vice President of Market Operations at Key Capture Energy (KCE), will then present "Lessons Learned from Operating in US Markets" with comments regarding battery energy storage systems (BESS) and operational experience in major markets such as ERCOT.

 

This inaugural event will convene industry experts to discuss the latest innovations in battery production, EV technology, and energy storage solutions in the fast-emerging Battery Belt.
