Transforming Farming: K-AgTech LaunchPad Set to Revolutionize Agricultural Innovation

The K-AgTech LaunchPad project has been launched at the College of Agriculture, Vellayani, in a collaborative effort by the Kerala Agricultural University, NABARD, and Western Sydney University. This initiative aims to promote startups and entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, focusing on innovative solutions to reduce post-harvest losses. The project is supported by NABARD's Rural Business Incubation Centre plan, with an allocation of Rs 14.575 crore over five years. A high-tech agriculture unit will also be established at the college with technical assistance from Western Sydney University. This launch marks a significant step towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture.
