UFlex Expands Global Footprint with Major Investments in Mexico and India

UFlex Ltd, India's leading flexible packaging company, has announced investments exceeding Rs 750 crore for two significant projects. The company will establish a woven polypropylene bags manufacturing plant in Mexico with a $50 million (approximately Rs 435 crore) investment. This facility, set to be operational in 2025-26, will produce 80 million bags annually, targeting the North and South American pet food market. Additionally, UFlex is investing Rs 317.11 crore in a new recycling facility in Noida, India. This plant will process 39,600 MTPA of plastic waste, including bottles and mixed plastics, aligning with India's extended producer responsibility legislation. These strategic expansions aim to strengthen UFlex's global presence and commitment to sustainable packaging solutions.
