UltraTech Crosses 200 Million Tonne Capacity In India

 On April 17, 2026, UltraTech Cement announced this milestone, reinforcing its leadership in India’s construction materials sector. The expansion strengthens regional supply chains and positions the company for further growth, with plans to reach 240 MTPA by FY28.  

Expansion Details  

UltraTech commissioned three new cement grinding units with a combined capacity of 8.7 MTPA. These are strategically located in Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Patratu (Jharkhand), and Vizag (Andhra Pradesh), catering to booming construction corridors and industrial hubs.
