U.P. Congress Gets a Makeover: 75 New Faces for 75 Districts!

The Congress party has made new presidents for all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh as part of a major organizational overhaul. The decision is to increase the party's grassroots presence and consolidate its social justice plank, with an emphasis on representation for OBCs, Dalits, and minorities. Key appointments include Rudra Daman Singh as president of the District Congress Committee in Lucknow. The party plan is in line with the breakup of erstwhile units in December 2024 and seeks to renew its leadership prior to forthcoming polls. The transformation is set to strengthen local units immensely.
