US Pushes for Expanded Agricultural Market Access, Boosting Farmer Opportunities

The Biden-Harris Administration has successfully secured over $26.7 billion in agricultural market access globally for American farmers, ranchers, fishers, and food manufacturers. This significant achievement has resulted in a 28.5% increase in the four-year average of U.S. agricultural exports compared to the previous administration. United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai and Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack have emphasized their commitment to opening new markets and strengthening trading partnerships, providing more opportunities for domestic agricultural producers of all sizes to reach global customers.
