Veteran Actor Deb Mukherjee Dies at 83

Veteran Indian actor Deb Mukherjee, who is the father of acclaimed director Ayan Mukerji, passed away at the age of 83. He passed away due to age-related complications after being ill for a few months. Deb Mukherjee was a well-known personality in the Mukherjee family, with acting credits in films such as "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar" and "Kaminey." His cremation was at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai, where several Bollywood stars attended, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Kajol. Deb was also the father-in-law of filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and uncle of actresses Kajol and Rani Mukerji.
