Vietnam Pioneers Global Coconut Industry Meet at CocoNext 2024

In December 2024, Ben Tre City, Vietnam, hosted CocoNext 2024, the nation's first international coconut conference themed "Empowering Vietnamese Coconut Value Chain." The event attracted over 200 participants, including government officials, business leaders, and experts from leading coconut-producing countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India. Discussions focused on sustainable strategies, technological innovations, and future business opportunities to enhance the coconut industry's value chain. Vietnam, now the fourth-largest exporter of coconut products in the Asia-Pacific, aims to solidify its position in the global market through such initiatives.
