Viksit Bharat 2.0: Young Minds Ignite India's Data Revolution

The Indian government has unveiled two major initiatives aimed at empowering youth to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has launched the "Innovate with GoIStats" hackathon, challenging students and researchers to create data-driven insights using official statistics. Running from February 25 to March 31, 2025, the hackathon offers prizes up to Rs 2 lakh. Additionally, the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025, a reimagined National Youth Festival, concluded today at Bharat Mandapam. The event brought together 3,000 young leaders who presented innovative ideas for India's development, with top proposals showcased to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
