Virtue Over Victory: President Murmu's Message to the Nation

President Droupadi Murmu has highlighted the need to be a good person rather than being successful. Speaking at the convocation ceremony of the Central University of Punjab, she stressed that morality is the key to a fulfilling life. Murmu told students to focus on long-term gains rather than short-term benefits and use their skills and interests in a sustainable manner. She emphasized five qualities that students must possess: curiosity, originality, morality, farsightedness, and spontaneity. Referring to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam as an example, she commended his curiosity and originality. Murmu was confident that the students would bring glory to their families and the country through their behavior and contributions.
