West Indies' Warrican Crowned ICC Men's Player of the Month for January 2025

Jomel Warrican, the West Indies left-arm spinner, has been named the ICC Men's Player of the Month for January 2025. Warrican's exceptional performance in Pakistan, where he claimed 19 wickets in two Tests at an average of just 9.00, led West Indies to their first Test win in the country since 1990. His career-best figures of 10/101 in the first Test and match-winning 9/70 in the second Test at Multan were instrumental in securing this prestigious award. Warrican expressed his honor in receiving the accolade, becoming the first West Indian to win since Gudakesh Motie in May 2024.
