Yash Begins Shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s Epic ‘Ramayana’

Yash has commenced shooting for his role as Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film “Ramayana.” The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Filming began on February 21, 2025, in Mumbai, focusing on war sequences at Aksa Beach and later moving to a studio in Dahisar. This mythological epic drama is releasing in two halves: the first half is releasing on Diwali 2026 and the second half on Diwali 2027. This film is India's most expensive movie to be produced until now, with a budget of ₹835 crore.
