Youth Empowerment: Sonowal Elaborates on Role in Nation-Building

Union Cabinet Minister Sarbananda Sonowal asserted the pivotal position of youth in nation-building while speaking at the Think India North-East Summit 2025 in IIT Guwahati. Sonowal underscored that with the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has focused on empowering young minds and providing opportunities. He laid emphasis on the transformative developments of the Northeast over the last ten years and how they have strengthened India's economy. Sonowal appealed to Assam's youth to get involved in politics, saying their new ideas are needed to tackle modern-day issues and determine the future of the nation. The minister stressed the need for youth involvement in safeguarding cultural heritage and promoting harmony in Assam's multicultural society.
