Adani Green Energy Operationalizes 200 MW Solar Project in Gujarat, Strengthening Renewable Energy Leadership

Adani Green Energy Limited recently operationalized a 200 MW solar power project in Gujarat, contributing significantly to its renewable energy capacity. The project is part of the company’s large-scale developments at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, one of the largest solar parks in the world.

This addition boosts Adani Green’s total operational renewable energy capacity beyond 16,486 MW, reinforcing its position as India’s top renewable energy producer. The company aims to expand this capacity further, targeting 30 GW by 2029.

The project supports India's clean energy transition, reducing carbon emissions and fostering economic growth in the region by creating local job opportunities. It also aligns with the country’s commitment to increasing renewable energy share in the power mix.
