Air India Apologizes for Defective Seat, Vows to Improve

Air India has apologized to Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan after he was assigned a defective seat on flight AI436 from Bhopal to Delhi. Chouhan shared the experience on social media, being disappointed with the airline's service quality even after being taken over by Tata. He asked the airline to reconsider the morality of charging a full fare for cramped seats and called upon the airline to take remedial measures. Air India responded by posting an apology on X (formerly Twitter), assuring that they are looking into the issue to avoid such incidents in the future. The airline has asked to meet the minister personally to resolve his issues.
