Alert for PAN Card Holders: PIB Exposes Phishing Scams Targeting India Post Payments Bank

The India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) customers are being targeted by a phishing scam. Fraudsters are sending alarming messages stating that accounts will be blocked unless the PAN card details are updated. According to the Press Information Bureau (PIB), the messages are false, and it requests the public not to click on suspicious links or share any personal information. Recently, PIB said in a post, "The claim that IPPB accounts will be blocked within 24 hours if PAN details are not updated is false." Customers are advised to remain vigilant and protect their sensitive data from these cyber threats.
