Alkem Labs to Acquire Adroit Biomed for ₹1.4 Billion, Boosts Dermatology Portfolio

Alkem Laboratories Ltd has announced the acquisition of a 100% stake in Adroit Biomed Limited for ₹1.4 billion, aiming to strengthen its presence in the dermatology and cosmetology segments. Adroit Biomed, a healthcare company with a focus on pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and dermatology, reported a turnover of ₹53.55 crore for FY24. The acquisition, to be completed in two tranches, is expected to close by April 1, 2025. This strategic move aligns with Alkem's expansion plans and should enhance its product portfolio and market penetration. This follows Alkem's recently reported Q3 FY25 results, showing revenue from operations at ₹3,374.28 crore and net profit at ₹640.79 crore.
