Ambuja Cements Shares Surge as CLSA Upgrades to Outperform

Ambuja Cements shares have surged after CLSA upgraded its rating to "Outperform", citing the strategic growth plans of the company. CLSA stated that Ambuja will increase its production capacity from 90 million tonnes to 140 million tonnes over the next four years through organic and inorganic initiatives. The outlook is optimistic because of a resilient pricing environment in the cement sector. Investors are encouraged because of the improved prospects for profit-making on account of cost-saving measures and enhanced market share.
