Andhra Pradesh and Nvidia Forge AI Alliance to Shape India's Tech Future  

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nvidia to accelerate the state's artificial intelligence ecosystem. This partnership aims to establish India's first AI University, provide skill training for 10,000 engineering students, and support 500 AI startups through Nvidia's Inception Program.  

Key Highlights  

- AI University Initiative  
  Andhra Pradesh will collaborate with Nvidia to set up India's first AI University, focusing on cutting-edge research, education, and infrastructure development. Nvidia will assist in shaping the curriculum, ensuring students receive world-class AI training.  

- Skill Development for Engineering Students  
  Over the next two years, 10,000 engineering students across Andhra Pradesh will receive specialized AI training. Nvidia will provide curriculum guidance, technical resources, and hands-on learning opportunities to equip students with industry-ready AI skills.  

- Boosting AI Startups  
  The partnership includes support for 500 AI startups from Andhra Pradesh through Nvidia's Inception Program. This initiative will provide emerging companies with access to Nvidia’s global network, technical expertise, and market opportunities, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.  

- Advancing AI Research and Infrastructure  
  Nvidia will collaborate with the state government to establish AI research centers aimed at solving complex technological challenges. Additionally, the company will assist in developing high-performance computational infrastructure to support AI-driven innovation.

IT Minister Nara Lokesh emphasized that this collaboration marks a decisive step in positioning Andhra Pradesh as a national leader in artificial intelligence. By integrating AI into education, research, and entrepreneurship, the state is laying the foundation for a future-ready economy driven by innovation.
