Andhra Pradesh Tackles Bird Flu: Swift Action and Reassurance from Minister Atchannaidu

 

Andhra Pradesh's Animal Husbandry Minister K. Atchannaidu reassures the public as the state implements comprehensive measures to combat the recent bird flu outbreak. The government has mobilized 721 Rapid Response Teams to monitor and control the spread, particularly at state borders. Containment zones have been established, with strict biosecurity measures in place. Central teams have been dispatched to assess the situation, demonstrating a coordinated response. Atchannaidu emphasizes that only 5.4 lakh birds have been affected, not 40 lakh as rumored, and assures that thoroughly cooked chicken and eggs remain safe for consumption. The state remains vigilant, with hourly monitoring and culling operations underway to prevent further spread.
