Ather Energy Revs Up Innovation: Rs 750 Crore R&D Push to Turbocharge India's EV Scene

IPO-fileree Ather Energy has announced the opening of its upgraded product test and validation center, "The Juggernaut," in Bengaluru. Spanning 38,692 sq. ft., the center features state-of-the-art technology, including a road load simulator that packs 100,000 km of tests into only 15 days. With specific laboratories for structural endurance, battery tests, and electronics reliability, Ather plans to fast-track innovation without compromising quality. The firm has promised to allocate Rs 750 crore from its next IPO in the next three years towards R&D. The move reflects the ambitions of Ather to revolutionize India's electric vehicle segment with new motorcycle and scooter platforms in the making.
