Avendus PE Unveils Ambitious ₹4,000 Crore Private Credit Fund to Fuel India's Mid-Market Growth

India's Avendus PE Investment Advisors has officially launched its third private credit fund with a target corpus of ₹4,000 crore ($466 million). This new fund will cater to the increasing demand for high-yield debt among mid-sized companies in manufacturing, healthcare, and technology sectors. This is expected to fetch a gross return of 16%-18% over a seven-year tenor. The fund will be used to tap India's burgeoning private credit market, which raised nearly $10 billion last year. The initiative, according to the firm, demonstrates its commitment to bridging the financing gap for mid-market enterprises in India.
