BCCI Implements New Luggage Policy to Promote Team Unity and Fiscal Responsibility

The BCCI has introduced a new luggage policy for overseas tours, limiting players to 150kg of baggage. This decision comes after a star player reportedly carried over 250kg of luggage, including 27 bags and 17 bats, during the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. The new policy aims to streamline travel logistics and reduce unnecessary expenses. Additionally, the BCCI has revised rules for family accompaniment on tours, allowing them only for two weeks on trips longer than 45 days. These changes are set to take effect from the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, promoting team cohesion and financial prudence.
