Bharat Coking Coal Sets IPO Price Band At Rs 21-23

The Indian markets are set to witness the first major IPO of 2026 as Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a Coal India subsidiary, launches its Rs 1,071 crore Initial Public Offering. The price band has been fixed at Rs 21-23 per share, with the issue opening on January 9 and closing on January 13.  

The IPO is structured as a complete offer for sale, with Coal India divesting 10 percent of its holdings. Shares worth Rs 107 crore have been reserved for eligible Coal India shareholders, while employees will receive a discount of Rs 1 per share. The allotment is scheduled for January 14, with listing expected on January 16 at both BSE and NSE.
