Bharti Airtel and Bajaj Finance Forge Strategic Partnership to Launch Digital Financial Services

Bharti Airtel, a leading telecommunications provider, and Bajaj Finance, a prominent non-banking financial company, have entered into a strategic partnership to offer a suite of digital financial products to Airtel's extensive customer base of over 370 million users. This collaboration aims to integrate Airtel's robust digital platforms with Bajaj Finance's diverse financial product offerings, enhancing accessibility and convenience for consumers across India.

As part of this alliance, the companies have introduced the Airtel Bajaj Finserv Insta EMI Card, a digital card that enables customers to purchase from a selection of over one million products on easy EMIs. The card offers a pre-approved credit limit of up to ₹3 lakhs and facilitates purchases at leading online and offline stores across more than 4,000 cities. This initiative empowers customers to convert both large and small purchases into EMIs, repayable over a flexible tenure of up to 60 months.

Additionally, Airtel Finance has launched a Fixed Deposits marketplace, offering interest rates of up to 9.1% annually. This service allows customers to book and manage fixed deposits directly through the Airtel Thanks App without the need to open a new bank account, with a minimum investment starting at ₹1,000. The fixed deposits are facilitated in partnership with multiple small finance banks and NBFCs, providing customers with assured returns and flexible investment options.

This partnership signifies a significant step towards integrating telecommunications and financial services, leveraging the strengths of both companies to deliver innovative and customer-centric financial solutions. By combining Airtel's digital reach with Bajaj Finance's financial expertise, the collaboration is poised to enhance the digital financial ecosystem in India, offering customers a seamless and comprehensive suite of financial products and services.
