Brazil's President Lula Issues Strong Warning Against Trump’s Tariff Threats

In a bold response to Donald Trump's recent tariff threats, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva declared that Brazil will reciprocate any imposed tariffs on its exports. During a press conference in Brasília, Lula emphasized the need for mutual respect between the two nations, stating, "If he taxes Brazilian products, we will respond in kind." While Lula expressed a desire to enhance trade relations with the U.S., he remains firm on protecting Brazil's economic interests.
