Breaking Language Barriers: MPSC Exams Shift to Marathi

In a major development, the Maharashtra government has declared that all competitive examinations held by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) will now be conducted in Marathi. The move is intended to encourage the local language and favor Marathi-speaking students. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis declared this while replying to a question on examination in agriculture and engineering being held solely in English. The government intends to prepare textbooks in Marathi for those subjects which do not have them.
