Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Suresh Kumar Khanna, presented an all-encompassing budget for the financial year 2025-26. He allocated ₹400 crores this year under the scheme of Rani Laxmibai Scooty for the award of scooters to meritorious girls pursuing higher education. Connecting four expressways, including the Agra-Lucknow Ganga Expressway link, require ₹900 crores to complete. Lucknow shall serve as the AI hub with an investment of ₹5 crores towards creating an Artificial Intelligence City. The budget also focused on smart classrooms, cyber security, and revitalization of the state assembly; this shows UP's priority for technological advancement with inclusion into growth.
