Caprihans India Seals Q4 Gains As Revenue Holds, Profit Returns

Caprihans India reported a profitable close to FY26, posting consolidated revenue from operations of 1.83 billion rupees and consolidated profit of 70.4 million rupees in the March 2026 quarter. The packaging and films maker improved operating efficiency, narrowed full-year losses, and maintained strong operating cash flows despite a challenging cost environment and higher finance costs.

Pune-headquartered Caprihans India’s Board approved its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2026 at its meeting on 25 May 2026. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements, reinforcing transparency and compliance. Management highlighted continued focus on cost control, working capital discipline, and selective capex.

Quarter Four Business Performance

Standalone revenue from operations in Q4 FY26 stood at 1,818.1 million rupees, broadly stable year-on-year. Total income reached 2,002.2 million rupees, while profit after tax came in at 63.1 million rupees, helped by higher other income and better inventory management. The quarter also recorded modest negative other comprehensive income from employee benefit remeasurement.

Full Year Financial Trajectory

For FY26, standalone revenue from operations was 7,102.5 million rupees, compared with 7,515.1 million rupees in FY25. The company reported a standalone loss after tax of 481.7 million rupees, an improvement from a 622.8 million rupee loss in the previous year. Operating cash flow strengthened to 1,205.8 million rupees, supporting investment in property, plant and equipment and debt reduction.
