Carysil's ₹500 Crore Kitchen Revolution: Bhavnagar To Become World's Largest Sink Manufacturing Hub

Ahmedabad-based Carysil Ltd, a leading provider of premium kitchen solutions, has made a huge ₹500 crore investment to increase its manufacturing capacity. The move is strategic in nature, with the objective of enhancing India's position in the global kitchenware market and making Bhavnagar the world's largest hub for kitchen sink production.

Highlights of the investment plan:

• ₹100 crore to double the production of sinks from 1 million to 2 million units a year
• ₹50 crore to increase stainless steel sink capacity to 2.5 lakh units a year
• ₹30 crore to double the production of kitchen faucets to 50,000 units a year
• ₹20 crore to produce 50,000 built-in kitchen appliances a year
   

Chirag Parekh, CMD of Carysil, stressed the firm's focus on the 'Make in India' movement and innovation in kitchen solutions. With exports to 58 nations, including the US, UK, and Europe, Carysil is well-positioned to increase its global presence further through this major capacity addition.
