Centre Demands Action on Infosys Layoffs: Karnataka Labour Ministry Under Pressure

This directive follows a complaint by the IT employees' union NITES, alleging illegal termination of up to 700 freshers. Infosys claims only 350 employees resigned through "mutual separation" after failing internal assessments. The controversy has sparked outrage, with reports of employees being forced to leave campus abruptly.
