Reminiscing on the launch vehicle "Kaho Naa. Pyaar Hai" in which Hrithik first made it big, Tahil feels that if the rise was a step-wise one for SRK, in his case, entry was meteoric. Tahil stressed that the two have distinct strengths and weaknesses, and their stories are indicative of different eras and changes within the industry. He also clears the myths surrounding favoritism during the shoot of "Kaho Naa. Pyaar Hai" and that there was no special treatment given to Hrithik as the son of the director Rakesh Roshan. These reflections coincide with the 25th anniversary re-release of "Kaho Naa. Pyaar Hai," where audiences get a chance to rewatch the film that gave birth to Hrithik's sensational debut.
