BELLEVUE, Wash.—April 22, 2025—Today, Identity Digital®, a leading provider of domain names and digital identity services, announced a new partnership with the National Forest Foundation (NFF) to plant 25,000 trees in United States National Forests by the end of 2025. This tree planting initiative is part of Identity Digital’s larger commitment to environmental stewardship and community impact in alignment with Earth Day, to focus on the stewardship of the earth and ecosystems.
The partnership will help support national reforestation strategies on National Forest Lands with funding directed to the most critical restoration areas to help sustain these ecosystems. As part of this partnership, Identity Digital employees will also volunteer with NFF and U.S. Forest Service employees to support restoration projects in National Forests, including upcoming projects in Colorado’s White River National Forest.
Ram Mohan, Chief Strategy Officer of Identity Digital stated, “At Identity Digital we believe that we contribute to our communities in positive ways, both online and offline. Our core values compel us to build on our sustainability efforts through this exciting new partnership with the National Forest Foundation. By supporting these tree-planting projects, we support healthy ecosystems, sustainable practices, and enhance public health.”
Marcus Selig, Chief Conservation Officer of the National Forest Foundation stated, “Identity Digital’s partnership is aligned with the National Forest Foundation’s commitment to ensuring National Forests are healthy and provide recreation for everyone. The support of Identity Digital and others means future generations can experience the awe-inspiring beauty and ecological benefits of National Forests. This partnership is a tremendous example of the power of collaborative action to enhance and sustain the health of these ecosystems”.
Outside of the United States, Identity Digital is working with several organizations in Australia, India and in Africa to plant a total of 35,000 trees globally by the end of 2025. Similar to the partnership with NFF, these initiatives are aimed at improving biodiversity, offsetting carbon emissions, rebuilding landscapes and empowering communities to take measurable actions toward ecological balance.
This Earth Day, Identity Digital is committed to enhancing strategies that help businesses, sustain ecosystems and strengthen communities through responsible technology and sustainable practices.
