DLF announces Huge Rs 20,000 Crore investment in Commercial Realty

Property major DLF Ltd has announced ambitious expansion plans to invest Rs 20,000 crore in the medium term to double its commercial property holdings. The firm plans to double its rental assets from 44 million square feet to a whopping 73 million square feet. The strategy will be to develop office premises and retail space through DLF Ltd as well as its joint ventures, led by DLF Cyber City Developers Ltd (DCCDL).

 

Some of the key projects are developing 5.5 million square feet of Grade A+ office space in 'DLF Downtown, Gurugram' and the 20 lakh square feet 'DLF Mall of India, Gurugram'. With its current rental portfolio occupancy rate of 93%, DLF is well positioned to consolidate its leadership position in India's commercial real estate industry. This substantial investment reflects the firm's commitment to long-term development and belief in the surging demand for high-end commercial property in the nation.
