Maruti Suzuki has entered the electric vehicle segment with the launch of the E Vitara, built on the HEARTECT-e platform. The top-spec Alpha 61 kWh variant is positioned as a premium offering in the lineup, featuring automatic transmission, advanced infotainment, and multiple safety enhancements.  

The SUV is expected to deliver a range between 440–543 km on a single charge, catering to both city commutes and long-distance travel. Available in seven color options including Nexa Blue, Grandeur Grey, and Opulent Red, the Alpha variant is designed to appeal to urban buyers seeking a blend of style and sustainability.  

Industry experts highlight that the pricing strategy places the E Vitara Alpha in direct competition with other mid-range EVs, while leveraging Maruti’s strong dealership network to boost adoption. The on-road price is expected to vary across cities, factoring in state subsidies and registration costs.
