East Meets West in Dazzling Display: 'Chhaava' Paints Westminster in Indian Colors

In a first of sorts for Indian cinema, Vicky Kaushal's soon-to-release film 'Chhaava' has lit up the legendary Palace of Westminster in London as the first Bollywood film to do so. The anthem song for the film, 'Aaya Re Toofan', written by A.R. Rahman, was mapped onto the iconic building, forming a breathtaking visual treat. This worldwide spectacle was taken to the heart of New York in Times Square, where dancer Lauren Gottlieb choreographed a flash mob performance. Vicky Kaushal also heaped praise on the composition by Rahman, describing it as "capturing the weight of history" yet reaching a universal audience. The ceremony represents a landmark in the global spread and influence of Indian cinema.
