Microsoft has announced that Rajesh Jha, Executive Vice President of the Experiences + Devices Group and one of the company’s longest-serving leaders, will retire on July 1, 2026. After more than 35 years at the tech giant, Jha will transition into an advisory role, with several leadership promotions accompanying his departure.

Rajesh Jha joined Microsoft in 1990 and steadily rose through the ranks to lead one of the company’s largest engineering divisions. Additionally, Jeff Teper has been promoted to EVP, while Sumit Chauhan and Kirk Koenigsbauer have been elevated to President roles.
