Investment opportunities in Kerala's range of tourism products have been stressed by experts at the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025. Kerala has a model of sustainable and responsible tourism, and the state receives tourists all year round due to its green destinations and good infrastructure. Suman Billa, Additional Secretary in the Union Tourism Ministry, stated that Kerala needs to leverage its international brand value to attract more investments. The summit highlighted prospects in new destinations found across the state and partnerships with startups through the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM). This indicates efforts to push tourism beyond traditional destinations like backwaters and beaches.
