Flour Power: Nepal's Atta Aims to Knead Its Way into Chinese Kitchens

Vikas Food Products Pvt. Ltd., one of Nepal's leading flour mills, is on the verge of boosting its export of Chakki Atta to China. The company, based in Nepalgunj, western Nepal, already has a firm foothold in the UAE and Singapore markets through its Chakki Atta. Producing 100 tonnes of wheat atta per day, Vikas Food is well placed to address the increasing Chinese demand. This step is in line with Nepal's attempts to increase exports to neighboring nations, as recently reiterated by Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli. The expansion into the Chinese market is likely to play a major role in the growth of Nepal's exports and enhance economic relations between the two countries.
