Founder DK Goyal Faces Criminal Charges as Centers Shut Nationwide

IIT Delhi alumnus DK Goyal, who built FIITJEE into a Rs 500 crore coaching empire with 73 centers across India, now faces multiple FIRs and criminal charges. The institute's sudden closure of eight centers across North India has left 3,500 students stranded and sparked protests. Goyal, along with 11 others including CFO Rajiv Babbar and COO Manish Anand, has been booked for criminal conspiracy and breach of trust after centers shut down without notice. Teachers resigned en masse citing months of unpaid salaries, while parents who paid up to Rs 5.4 lakh in fees are demanding refunds.
