During her three-day official visit to Nagaland, FM Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated a newly established ITI campus in Kiphire district, designed to enhance vocational education and skill training for youth. She also launched the SAMARTH portal, a cutting-edge AI-based learning platform aimed at promoting advanced vocational education and aligning skills with industry needs.

Additionally, she inaugurated nine bank branches across various districts to expand banking services and credit accessibility, boosting financial inclusion and supporting local entrepreneurs.
