Goa Makes 'Chhaava' Tax-Free on Sambhaji Maharaj's Birth Anniversary

The Goa government has made the historical movie Chhaava tax-free, taking a cue from Madhya Pradesh in paying tribute to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar and featuring Vicky Kaushal, depicts the bravery and sacrifices of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant made the announcement on Shivaji Jayanti, highlighting its potential to inspire the younger generation with Maratha history. The movie, which has already surpassed ₹200 crore worldwide, is still receiving universal praise for its narrative and performances
