Got Space Ideas? ISRO Wants Them in RESPOND 2025

The RESPOND Basket was released during ISRO–Academia Day in Bengaluru by Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan, who emphasized the importance of academic collaboration in advancing India’s space programme. This edition highlights mission-linked R&D needs for projects such as Chandrayaan-4, Gaganyaan continuation missions, the Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS), and future planetary explorations. A stronger focus has been placed on prototype development and improving technology readiness levels, ensuring academic research directly contributes to mission execution. Around 150 professors from across India attended the launch event, underscoring the growing partnership between ISRO and academia.
