Government's Job Drive Soars: 42,000+ Fairs, 18.4 Lakh Candidates Shortlisted

The Indian government's employment initiative has achieved remarkable success, with over 42,000 job fairs organized since 2019-20, resulting in more than 18.4 lakh job seekers being shortlisted. Union Minister Jitendra Singh announced that 14 Rozgar Melas have been held centrally across 45-50 cities, issuing several lakh appointment letters. The initiative, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2022, aims to boost employment opportunities nationwide. Additionally, the government is implementing the National Career Service project, offering various employment-related services through a digital platform. This robust effort underscores the government's commitment to addressing unemployment and fostering economic growth.
