Groww Secures $250M Pre-IPO Funding, Valuation Soars to $6.8B

Investment platform Groww is set to raise $250 million in a pre-IPO funding round led by Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC, boosting its valuation to $6.8 billion. This significant increase from its last recorded valuation signals strong investor confidence as the company prepares for its public listing. The funding round may also include existing investor Tiger Global Management. Groww, which offers stock trading and mutual fund investments, is targeting an IPO by December 2025, aiming to raise $600-800 million at a valuation between $6-8 billion. The company's revenue surged 119% to Rs 3,145 crore in FY24, underlining its rapid growth in India's booming fintech sector.
