Henry's Heroics Halted: Why He's Missing the Final

New Zealand's pacer Matt Henry, their star player, will miss the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final match against India because of a shoulder injury. The mishap took place when New Zealand played against South Africa in the semi-final match where Henry awkwardly fell while taking a catch. Although he went back and bowled a couple of overs, unfortunately, he was unable to recover for the final match. Henry's unavailability is a major setback for New Zealand, as he has been the highest wicket-taker in the tournament so far with 10 scalps and was also very impressive against India in the group stage, taking a five-wicket haul. Nathan Smith has been roped in as his replacement in the playing XI. India will try to take advantage of Henry's unavailability to bolster their title-winning prospects.
