Hextar Industries Shares Climb 3.6% Following Strong Q4 Results

Hextar Industries Berhad's stock rose 3.6% to MYR0.435 in early trading today, following the release of its impressive fourth-quarter results for 2024. The company reported a significant increase in both profit and revenue compared to the previous year.

For Q4 2024, Hextar Industries posted a net profit of MYR23.39 million, a substantial jump from MYR4.64 million in the same quarter of 20235. This fivefold increase in profit was primarily driven by strong performances across its core business segments. The company's quarterly revenue also saw a notable rise, reaching MYR214.28 million, up from MYR134.06 million in the previous year.

The robust Q4 results contributed to a solid full-year performance for 2024. Hextar Industries reported an annual revenue of MYR669.44 million, marking a 12.5% increase from MYR594.91 million in 20233. The company's net profit for the full year rose to MYR56.08 million, up from MYR49.54 million in the previous year.

Hextar Industries' management expressed confidence in sustaining growth momentum in 2025 and beyond, citing progress in executing strategies and the strength of its diversified business model1. The company also declared a first interim dividend of one sen per share, payable on April 5, 2025.
