Shillong will host its first International Film Festival (SIFF) from March 25–27, 2026, at the State Convention Centre. The Shillong International Film Festival (SIFF) is being organized by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Government of Meghalaya, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the National Film Development Corporation of India.
