Hub71 Positions Abu Dhabi As Global Startup Incubation Hub

Abu Dhabi’s Hub71 has emerged as one of the fastest-growing global tech ecosystems, offering a vibrant incubation base for startups worldwide. Launched in 2019, Hub71 is part of the emirate’s broader vision to diversify its economy beyond oil and establish itself as a leading technology hub. The platform provides startups with access to funding, mentorship, corporate partnerships, and international markets, making it a gateway for entrepreneurs seeking global scale.  

Key highlights from the announcement include  

• Hub71 has onboarded more than 390 startups across diverse sectors since inception.  
• Startups in its programs have raised AED 9.8 billion in funding and generated AED 5.2 billion in revenue.  
• Over 243 corporate partnership deals have been signed, strengthening collaboration between startups and established firms.  
• The ecosystem connects Asia, the Middle East, and Western markets, positioning Abu Dhabi as a global hub.  
• Hub71 is actively engaging Indian entrepreneurs, offering them access to capital and international exposure.  
• The initiative supports Abu Dhabi’s economic diversification strategy, reducing reliance on oil-driven GDP.  
• New partnerships and initiatives are being rolled out to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship.  
• Hub71’s Cohort 19 program, launched in December 2025, continues to attract high-potential startups globally.  

Peter Abou Hachem, Head of Growth and Strategy at Hub71, emphasized that the accelerator exists to build a global tech ecosystem from Abu Dhabi.
